We offer befriending and peer support, through shared experience of all aspects of mental wellbeing, e.g. how our mental health affects everyday life, coping strategies, symptoms, treatment and medication, employment, benefits and welfare.
Please note, this is not a counselling service. None of us are trained mental health practitioners. Nor are we part of mental health charity Mind. We reserve the right to refer you to other agencies if we feel they would be more appropriate for your needs.
What happens at group?
If you are experiencing a crisis:
Please contact your support worker or phone the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS 24-hour mental health crisis line on 0808 1963494. In case of emergency, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

What happens at group?
- an informal chat over a hot or cold drink
- our Tuesday meet-ups are unstructured
- there is no 'topic of the week' or 'circle time' where each person speaks in turn
- we talk about a range of topics, not just mental health
- you don't have to say anything about your mental health, unless you want to
- if you would rather just sit and listen, and not participate, that's fine too
